About Kirsty

Hi I'm Kirsty. I currently work for the NHS. I worked for 3 and a half years on the gastroenterology ward within Sunderland Royal hospital. The ward saw a lot of people who suffer from alcohol abuse. I also currently volunteer with individuals who suffer from substance misuse. I enjoy helping people in any way that I can. I am currently awaiting to start a new job woking with autistic adults. I look forward to a new challenge and job role.

I enjoy working at North Star Counselling service as it allows me to fulfil my passion of helping people. I enjoy the change of working with children rather than adults in the hospital setting.

I think the service Nicola is providing is fantastic and the children can really benefit presently and in the future from their experiences of the service.
